Drag and Drop upload
There are two versions of Drag and Drop uploads in INTERDUBS.
Drag and Drop upload
In March 2014 INTERDUBS upgraded the HTML5 uploader. It be easily recognized by the monochrome design.
This uploader version does not have a file size limit.
It employs multiple parallel uploaders to increase performance.
It can be configured by two configuration parameters:
DnD2: number of uploaders
You can use between 1 and 40 uploaders. The amount that is ideal for you does depend on the distance and connection quality.
DnD2: blocksize in KBs
The default is dividing files into 1 Megabyte chunks (1024 KByte). You can change this parameter to values between 30 ( 30 Kbytes) and 100,000 (~ 100MB).
Classic Drag and Drop upload
The older version is being referred to as Classic. The browser requirements for this version are very conservative:
Firefox Version 3.6 Google Chrome Version 10 Internet Explorer 10 Safari Version 5.0
This version is has a file size limit of 2GB.
