This Valentine's Day, Heineken gave love a helping hand.
Following Wieden+Kennedy's popular "Open Your World" campaign, Passion RAW's ever-so-clever director Willem Gerritsen came on board to make the experience interactive and endlessly entertaining. With the help of Facebook, consumers can personalize humorous songs to send to the object of their desire, inviting them on a date of epic proportions. Use a slew of choices totaling over 600 possible serenades in 20 languages to tell your prospective love why you fancy them ("you're in my top three") and why you're so special ("my mother says I'm good-looking"). Our favorite crooners from the original Serenade spot then perform your song made specially for your dream lover.
To build social buzz leading up to Valentine's Day, Willem Gerritsen also directed "Serenade Live", an eight hour marathon where lovers could ask their special one on a date—all streamed on YouTube.
